In order to hire teachers for the state’s government schools, the BSE, Odisha administers the OSSTET, a state-level teacher eligibility exam. Paper I is administered to Trained Graduate Teachers, and Paper II is administered to Physical Education Teachers.

OSSTET Exam Pattern
- OSSTET 2024 is divided into two papers that is Paper-I and Paper-II
- Duration of each paper shall be 2:30 hours
- Only Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) will be asked
- Each question will carry one mark
- There are four sections in both paper-I and paper-II.
- English is compulsory for all categories of posts in both paper-I and paper-II.
- There will be no negative marking.
